Sneak Peek!

Vintage Glass Beaded Set

I’ve been very into beading lately (again) and have been having fun salvaging vintage jewelry and playing with patterns.

That said, here’s a sneak peek at my latest project. A painstakingly beaded lace necklace for fall:

Tada! What do you think? I can’t decide whether to add a ribbon or some other kind of closure, or to leave it customize-able with white or brown ribbon … decisions, decisions. Anyhow, it’s gotten me in the mood for fall! I love the colors, the smells, the food, the festivals and carnivals. It’s my favorite time of year. Mom has been feeling much better, recovering nicely from the chemo/radiation, and has started making some new items lately, too. Will update as soon as possible!
